Prospective students
Notes for students and research associates who would like to work with me.
What I look for
- Strong quantitative skills: a solid foundation in mathematics, probability or statistics.
- Programming proficiency: experience with a language such as Python, Julia, Java or C++, and familiarity with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX) or deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Research alignment: an active interest in transportation networks, warehouse operations, or exact and heuristic optimization methods.
I do not offer short-term or summer projects. Please apply only if you can commit to working with me continuously over the long term.
